    Creative Associates International is currently implementing the Libya Community Driven Grants Program (CDGP). CDGP is a year-long initiative to promote sustainable civil society, encourage civic participation, and improve community relationships with governmental and non-governmental institutions in Eastern Libya. The Office and Program Coordinator will provide administrative and other support to the office and program, help organize and facilitate program events and assist in data collection, reporting and management. The Office and Program Coordinator will report to the Chief of Party. The main responsibilities of this position are: 1. Overall administrative support for the office and CDGP program 2. Organize and facilitate program events and activities 3. Support for the Communication and M&E Specialist in data collection and reporting. 4. Other tasks as requested by the Chief of Party. The main activities of this position are: Administrative Support  Develop and maintain an accurate, efficient filing system for the office including filing of pictures and other documents  Respond to queries about the program and provide information while being sensitive to the nature of the program  Ensure procurement of routine office supplies  Support Operations staff in procurement of other basic office needs and equipment.  Take and prepare minutes of routine office meetings  Prepare letters and other external documents for the program under the guidance of the PM.  Support the program team in preparing program documents for trainings, workshops and roundtables. Organize and Facilitate Program Events  Under the guidance of the PM, help organize program events including workshops and meetings ensuring that materials and event packages are prepared and venues and refreshments are organized.  Participate in events and provide administrative support as needed. Data Collection and Reporting  Under the guidance of the PM and with support from the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, help collect and collate required data on all program activities and achievements.  Develop and implement an efficient system for filing the data
  • Requirements:

    Qualifications and Qualities  A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related work experience.  At least 3 years’ experience of working in an NGO or similar office environment with a focus on vulnerable populations  Excellent interpersonal skills in a fast paced environment  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic  Proven organizational skills  Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint  Positive attitude towards work and ability to work effectively within a team  Discreet and able to make good judgments about the flow of information  A fast learner and hard worker Salary will be commensurate with experience and salary history.
